Graphic design has been a consistent thread throughout my career. woven through roles in education, research, media, and strategic communications. Whether working independently or as part of a broader team, I’ve applied design thinking to a wide range of projects, from corporate branding and investor decks to editorial content and book covers. My approach emphasizes clarity, cohesion, and visual storytelling, with each project shaped by its unique purpose, audience, and constraints. The examples below reflect the versatility of my practice across media types, as well as my commitment to producing design work that is thoughtful, effective, and engaging.
Logo and Brand Identity
Several of my projects have involved developing cohesive brand identities for organizations at various stages of growth—from early-stage ventures seeking their first logo to established firms looking to refresh or expand their visual presence. These projects typically began with an in-depth discovery process to understand the client’s mission, target audience, values, and competitive landscape. I then translated those insights into visual systems that combined strategic intent with clean, contemporary design.
Deliverables often included logo design, color palettes, typography guidelines, brand icons, and stationery mockups, with additional guidance on digital and print applications. Each brand identity was built for scalability, ensuring visual consistency across media while allowing room for creative flexibility. Example deliverables include:
- Professional Services Logos – Designed visual identities for firms in technical and professional domains, such as land surveying and engineering. These designs emphasized clarity, precision, and trustworthiness, using clean lines and legible type to reflect the clients’ specialized expertise.
- Conference and Event Brands – Created logos for multi-stakeholder conferences and associated awards programs. These identities needed to be memorable and versatile, functioning across both digital and large-format physical environments. Designs balanced thematic relevance (e.g. innovation, transformation, future-forward thinking) with strong visual coherence.
- Startups and Ventures – Developed brand systems for early-stage organizations working in emerging tech and sustainability. These projects often involved establishing a bold, distinctive identity that could stand out in a crowded space while conveying professionalism and vision.
These projects sharpened my ability to distill complex brand narratives into visual form. I became adept at aligning design decisions with brand strategy, iterating based on client feedback, and building scalable visual systems that perform across diverse use cases. Each engagement deepened my understanding of how design influences perception, communicates values, and drives engagement—skills I continue to apply in both independent and collaborative creative work.

Presentation Design
Across my career, I’ve developed professional-grade presentation decks that translate complex content into clear, visually engaging narratives. These decks have supported a wide range of high-stakes communication goals—from securing investor funding and building conference partnerships to delivering keynotes, winning awards, and advancing academic discourse.
My approach to presentation design is both strategic and creative: I begin by identifying the core messaging and intended audience, then build out a visual language that aligns with the client’s brand, purpose, and context. I’m experienced in working within strict brand guidelines as well as in developing new visual identities from scratch. I often collaborate directly with executive leaders, researchers, and communications teams to ensure that content is accurate, persuasive, and polished. Example deliverables include:
- Investor Decks – Developed decks for early-stage ventures in emerging technology sectors, translating complex business models and technical architectures into investor-friendly visuals.
- Conference Partnership Decks – Designed partnership decks to secure sponsorship funding and strategic partnerships for multi-day international events. Visual themes were tailored to reflect the conference’s concept and location while ensuring visual consistency with broader brand identity.
- Book Tour Decks – Created branded templates and modular slide decks for author-led book tours, ensuring visual alignment between the book’s design and the presentation materials used in keynotes, media appearances, and social campaigns. These decks needed to maintain narrative clarity while allowing speakers flexibility to tailor content for different audiences.
- Awards Ceremony Decks – Built dynamic slide decks for high-profile award galas, integrating live script cues, speaker transitions, and multimedia elements.
- Academic Conference Decks – Supported university-based researchers by creating visually impactful academic presentations that effectively communicated research findings. These decks allowed greater experimentation with design trends and creative visual metaphors, often helping clients stand out in crowded conference programs.
Each deck has contributed to meaningful outcomes: successful funding rounds, expanded event partnerships, and clearer communication of ideas to peers and the public. These experiences have strengthened my versatility as a designer and deepened my understanding of how visual storytelling can serve as a strategic asset in professional communication.

Digital Marketing Assets & Creatives
My work in digital marketing has spanned strategy, design, content creation, and campaign execution, with a strong focus on aligning visual and written assets to organizational goals. I’ve developed marketing plans with defined objectives, timelines, and roles; created media kits to empower partners and affiliates; and produced a wide range of promotional materials to support conferences, course launches, and thought leadership initiatives.
Visual storytelling was at the core of this work. Whether developing graphics for social media, banner ads, or sponsored posts, I tailored each asset to resonate with the intended audience—balancing brand consistency with channel-specific best practices. Campaigns were often data-informed, with iterative refinements based on performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement. Sample deliverables include:
- Media Kits and Affiliate Packages – Designed comprehensive media kits featuring branded visuals, copy blocks, and messaging guidelines for partners promoting major events, publications, and course offerings. These kits helped ensure consistent and compelling messaging across diverse channels.
- Social Media Creatives – Produced graphic content for digital platforms (particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and X) to announce research projects, spotlight events, and highlight key initiatives. Each asset was customized to drive engagement and expand reach across targeted audiences.
- Sponsored Content and Ad Campaigns – Managed the creation and performance tracking of paid ad campaigns on LinkedIn. This included designing visual creatives, crafting ad copy, and developing segmentation strategies to align content with audience behaviors and preferences.
- Written Editorial and Promotional Content – Authored press releases, articles, and promotional blurbs to accompany visual campaigns or stand alone as thought leadership pieces, supporting organizational visibility, credibility, and engagement.
This work deepened my fluency in multichannel marketing, from strategy through execution. It honed my ability to craft targeted messaging, design for conversion, and iterate based on audience feedback and analytics. I learned how to balance creativity with performance goals—ensuring every asset served both brand and business objectives.

Book Cover Design
Designing book covers requires the distillation of complex ideas into a single, striking visual that captures both the tone and substance of the work. My approach to cover design blends thoughtful conceptual development with clean, professional execution—ensuring the final product appeals to target audiences while aligning with market expectations for the genre.
Working closely with authors and publishers, I’ve designed covers for books on management theory, emerging technologies, and organizational transformation. These projects demanded close attention to visual hierarchy, typography, and imagery, as well as an ability to iterate based on feedback from multiple stakeholders. Example deliverables include:
- Thinkers50 Book Series – Designed covers for multiple titles in the Thinkers50 book series, aligning with the organization’s reputation as a global authority on management thinking. Each design reflected the unique themes of the title while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the series.
- Trivergence (Bob Tapscott, 2023) – Created a bold and modern cover for this title exploring the convergence of AI, blockchain, and IoT. The design aimed to convey the dynamism and interconnectedness of these forces shaping our digital future.
- You to the Power of Two (Joseph Bradley & Don Tapscott, 2025) – Collaborated closely with the authors to conceptualize a cover that encapsulates the theme of “Identic AI.” We conducted informal market research by sharing early concepts with Don Tapscott’s LinkedIn audience and broader network, using the feedback to refine the final design.
Book cover design has strengthened my skills in conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, and audience alignment. I’ve learned how to visually translate abstract or technical content into marketable, shelf-ready imagery—and how to navigate the collaborative, iterative process of working with authors, editors, and publishers to bring that vision to life. These projects have helped sharpen my ability to balance creativity with commercial sensibility.
